The mobile vibration meter allows point-by-point diagnostic measurement of housing vibrations. This intrinsically safe meter is ideal for measuring machine vibration.  

After pressing the ON button to turn the instrument on, a vibration measurement is taken: simply hold the probe tip to the machine and read the reading on the LCD display. Comparisons with a vibration severity table indicate acceptance conditions.  

This economical vibration meter is operable with English or metric units. Pressing and holding the ON button "freezes" the reading, allowing the instrument to be removed from the measurement point without losing the reading. Power is supplied by a standard 9V battery.  

The instrument housing is made of high impact polymer. A carrying case with belt loop and battery are included. Optional accessories include a 10" probe extension for hard-to-reach areas and for measuring vibration from exposed shafts.
